Cyanotype Workshop Berlin – Create with the Sun

Join me for a hands-on afternoon exploring the magic of cyanotype — an old-school photographic printing technique using sunlight and a little bit of chemistry. ☀️

We’ll start with a short introduction to the cyanotype process, the materials we use, and how everything works. Then it’s time to experiment! We’ll play with different plants, objects and compositions, make our first prints and see how sunlight transforms them into those beautiful deep blues.

Once we get a feeling for the process, we’ll create a small collection of cyanotype bookmarks, followed by a little break with coffee, tea and snacks.

And finally, we’ll bring everything we’ve learned together to create our final piece — your own cyanotype tote bag, designed and printed by you.

No previous experience is needed — just come curious and ready to experiment. All materials are provided, and everything you create during the workshop is yours to take home.
